Threadfin Fish Porridge (6 Months+)
Makes 2-3 Baby Servings
Ingredients:
Baby threadfin fish fillet – 1 small fillet (about 1/4 to 1/2 cup), boneless
2 tbsp Rice – 2 tbsp
1/2 tsp Lilo Premium Garlic & Powder
Lilo Premium Ikan Bilis Powder
Lilo Premium Corn Powder
Instructions:
1. Prepare the fish:
Clean the threadfin fillet, ensuring there are no bones. Cut it into small pieces for easier cooking and digestion.
Marinate it with Lilo garlic and onion powder for about 10–15 minutes.
2. Cook the rice:
Wash and drain rice
Add the rice to a pot of boiling water
Add Lilo Premium Ikan Bilis & Corn Powder
Reduce the heat to a gentle simmer and cook for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice softens and starts to break down.
3. Add the fish:
Gently stir in the small pieces of threadfin fish and cook for an additional 10 minutes, until the fish is fully cooked and flakes apart easily.
4. Puree (optional):
If your baby is still on purees, you can blend the porridge with a small amount of water or broth to reach the desired consistency.
If your baby is ready for mashed or chunkier food, you can leave the porridge as it is or mash it with a fork.
5. Serve:
Let the porridge cool down to a safe temperature before serving.

Texture: Adjust the texture according to your baby’s eating stage. For younger babies, blend the porridge until smooth; for older babies, leave it a little chunkier to encourage self-feeding.
Threadfin: Soft, low-mercury fish rich in omega-3 for brain and eye development.
Ikan Bilis: High in calcium, iron, and protein; great for bones and immunity (use unsalted, finely ground).
Garlic: Boosts immunity and aids digestion (use in small, cooked amounts).

Corn: Provides fiber and energy; gentle on the stomach.
